Social Care Quality Improvement Project Case Studies, Best Practice, Videos and More!
This Great Practice Guide is being created over time alongside our Best Practice workshops which will run
in early 2024.
The workshops are being led and co-created by social care providers and other partners.
They cover six themes:
- Environment
- Involving Others
- Person-centred Care
- Workforce
- Leading cultures of continuous improvement
- Partnerships
The Guide will have 3 sections:
- Talking Head Videos
- Resources and Data
- Case Studies
- CQC Single Assessment Framework
Some of the material will be generic and relevant across all themes, others will be subject specific.
We would be delighted to received your contributions to our Guide and encourage you to re-visit these pages
over time as we add more material.

Resources and Data
General
An Action Learning Set (ALS) is a structured group within a workplace or shared setting with a clear purpose: to address real- world challenges. The aim of an ALS is to build practical solutions or insights related to the issues at hand. Six members will meet over an agreed-upon timeframe, for approximately an hour each session.
